How to Use:

- The Layering Rule: After cleansing and toning, apply 1-2 pumps to the face. Because of the high 16% concentration, it may form a slight "film" or residue; apply in a thin, even layer to prevent pilling.

- Gradual Introduction: Start by using it 3-4 times a week at night to allow your skin to build tolerance before moving to twice-daily application.

- The Pat Method: Gently pat the serum into the skin rather than rubbing it. This helps the large Azelaic Acid molecules settle into the pores more effectively.

- Always SPF: Azelaic acid exfoliates the surface; you must apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen the following morning to protect the newly revealed skin.

What to Avoid:

- Avoid "Over-Exfoliating": Do not use this serum in the same routine as high-strength AHA/BHA exfoliants or Retinol, as the combination can overwhelm the skin barrier and cause peeling.

- Don't apply to damp skin. Applying concentrated acids to wet skin can increase penetration too quickly, leading to a temporary stinging sensation. Ensure your face is dry or only slightly damp from toner.

- Avoid the Eye Area. The skin around the eyes is significantly thinner; avoid applying the 16% complex too close to the lash line to prevent irritation.

- Don't skip the moisturizer. Even though this serum contains hydrating Panthenol, it is a treatment product. Always follow with a soothing moisturizer to "seal" the acid and prevent dryness.
